What is Pure Biochar?
Our award winning Pure Biochar is a premium soil amendment, which when mixed with compost or a Bio-fertiliser like our Pachamama Biogold, will significantly improve the health of your soil.
Pure Biochar increases yield and growth, reduces water usage, increases carbon in the soil and reduces and helps eliminate the need for inorganic fertilisers, pesticides and herbicides.

*Pure Biochar must be inoculated with a bio-fertiliser or mixed with compost for at least 3 weeks before use.
How do I use Pure BioChar?
Pure Biochar is a perfect opportunity for you to create your own supercharged garden blend with your own home grown compost and bio-fertilisers.
Mix 5L of Pure Biochar with 15L of your compost blend. Keep moist allow to sit for 2-3 weeks
Apply at a rate of 10L per 1.0sqm
Veggie Beds and New Garden Beds
- Apply Biochar Compost at a depth of 10-20 cm.
Existing Garden Beds
- Mix the Biochar Compost Blend into the topsoil and top dress with mulch.
Potted Plants - Apply 1 handful of Biochar Compost for small pots and 2 handfuls for larger pots. Fill the remainder of your pot with potting mix.
* Never apply pure biochar without first mixing with a diverse compost mix and charging for 2-3 weeks.
